Many symptoms of diesel filter failure overlap with those of high-pressure fuel pump and injector faults.It is necessary to first check the oil circuit,then confirm that the filter element is clogged and ineffective,and seize the opportunity for replacement.Do not wait until the engine is turned off before dealing with it.

　　Firstly,there is insufficient heavy-duty power.Idle operation is basically normal,but when excavating heavy loads,there is no energy and the speed drops;It is easy to stall under high load,but it can be restarted after taking a break.The representative filter is clogged,the high flow fuel supply cannot keep up with the demand,and the diesel supply is insufficient.

　　Secondly,it is difficult to initiate.The cold car ignition time becomes longer,and the manual Oil Pump needs to be repeatedly pressed before it can start smoothly;It's difficult to start a fire again after parking for a period of time.The filter element is clogged or poorly sealed,causing air to enter the oil circuit.

　　Thirdly,engine idle shaking and abnormal exhaust.Idle speed fluctuates between high and low,and black smoke is emitted during operation;After troubleshooting the fuel injector,prioritize checking for clogged diesel filter cartridges and excessive moisture content.The water accumulation cup of the oil-water separator has water,indicating a decrease in the water separation ability of the filter element or the need to drain water.

　　Fourth,external faults:leakage of filter housing and sealing ring position;The oil pump of the hand oil pump is soft,and air often enters the oil circuit.

　　Replace directly after reaching the maintenance cycle:it is recommended to replace the diesel filter of the vast majority of excavators within 500 hours;Mines and construction sites with poor diesel quality have shortened their working hours to 250-300 hours;Open the bottom plug of the oil-water separator every week to drain water,and promptly discharge any water that flows out.
