Damaged tensioning wheel does not report a separate fault,and the fault symptoms are mostly mixed with Belt faults.Many operators repeatedly replace the belt,but the problem persists.Learn to identify fault symptoms,seize the opportunity for replacement,avoid belt breakage halfway,and prevent engine high temperature breakdowns.

　　Firstly,the belt keeps whistling and slipping.The car is cold and the fuel door is squeaking.The belt has been replaced,and after removing the oil stains,the belt sag is too large when pressed;Observing the tension wheel swing arm,the swing arm has reached the limit stop point,and the spring has no margin,indicating spring fatigue and insufficient tension.

　　Secondly,the transmission system vibrates and jumps.When idling or accelerating,the belt bounces up and down significantly,and the swing arm swings back and forth significantly,it indicates that the internal damping mechanism has failed and cannot absorb vibration,making it easy for the belt to jump off.

　　Thirdly,there is abnormal noise from the tensioner body.During operation,there is rustling and buzzing friction noise in the tensioning wheel area.When turning off the engine,the wheel body is shaken by hand,and there is obvious radial and axial displacement in the bearings,indicating internal bearing wear.Severe damage to the bearing can cause it to jam and directly wear off the belt.

　　Fourth,physical damage to the appearance.The swing arm is deformed and cracked,and the spring is broken;Wear and tear of the wheel body groove,resulting in groove formation and breakage;Shell oil leakage and damping grease leakage.If the above situation occurs,the assembly must be replaced directly.
