The service life of the Tooth seat is much longer than that of the bucket teeth,but long-term operation may still result in wear,deformation,slot enlargement,cracking,and desoldering faults.Most construction sites only discover damage to the tooth seat after frequent tooth loss and shaking of the bucket teeth,which often leads to wear and deformation of the bucket edge.Learning to judge the degree of damage to the tooth seat and grasp the timing of replacement can effectively avoid secondary damage and reduce downtime costs.

　　Firstly,observe the wear of the card slot.The new tooth seat slot is neat and the clearance is small,and the bucket teeth are inserted tightly without shaking.When the inner wall of the card slot is worn,the space becomes larger,and the card position becomes loose,and the new bucket teeth still shake left and right and have a large amount of up and down clearance after installation,it indicates that the tooth seat has been worn out beyond the standard.Slight shaking can be used temporarily,but obvious shaking must be replaced,otherwise the vibration during operation will continue to intensify wear and tear,leading to frequent tooth detachment and breakage.

　　Next,check for deformation and warping of the tooth seat.Long term impact operation can cause overall deformation of the tooth seat,front end warping,and uneven bottom surface.The deformed tooth seat cannot perfectly fit with the bucket teeth,and the force point is offset.During excavation,the force is uneven,which not only causes rapid wear of the bucket teeth,but also easily leads to cracking at the root of the tooth seat.Visually observe the flatness of the tooth seat,which shows obvious skewness,unevenness,and angular deviation,and must be replaced.

　　Check for cracks,falling pieces,and damage again.The root,sides,and slot edges of the tooth seat are the most prone to cracking.Minor cracks do not affect the use in the early stage,but they will tear and fracture directly under continuous force.As long as visible cracks,gaps,or falling pieces are found,regardless of the severity of wear,they need to be replaced immediately.Under mining conditions,the crack propagation speed is extremely fast,which can easily cause sudden tooth loss and damage to the bucket during construction.

　　Finally,check if the welding position is loose or detached.The tooth seat is fixed to the blade edge of the bucket by welding,and long-term vibration may cause local detachment and virtual welding.If there is mud,water or shaking in the gap at the bottom of the tooth seat,it indicates that the welding has failed and the old tooth seat needs to be cut and replaced with a new one.It cannot be simply repaired by welding.Repeated welding of old tooth seats can cause the material to become brittle,the strength to decrease,and the service life to be significantly shortened.

　　Overall,if there are four types of problems with the tooth seat:large slot clearance,deformation and warping,crack damage,and loose welding,it must be replaced.Timely replacement of the tooth seat can not only protect expensive buckets,but also reduce tooth wear and tear,significantly reducing construction site maintenance costs.
